No, I don't have a recording machine. I am going to write down a list of specific questions that I want answers to. I will be speaking to the Executive Board so I should get some resposive answers, I hope. To the guy asking about braking, yes that was one of the first tests I did when I got mycar with the noise on the first day. Braking, hard braking, corners, (soft/hard), uphill, downhill didn't matter, noise is constant. Only in cold under 20 that the noise is worse, below 0 and you'd think it's falling apart.

+1 to the temperature changes affecting the amount of noise. The colder, the louder.
I don’t want to get rid of my car because for the money there is nothing out there that will be as fun or fast as this car. But if I understand the lemon law correctly if a problem is not fixed after 3 attempts they have to buy the car back right? Has anyone taken in the car to solve this problem and actually had a satisfactory repair? Man I should have listened before I bought this car my dad told meford stands for Fix Or Repair Daily!
He’s not a Chevy guy either he had a 94 mustang Gt. First window tint scratching and now the thunking noise maybe he was right but still I like it better than the average Joe accord .
Every state is different with Lemon Laws. Mine (Ct) was 4 times (safety related)in the first month of ownership. But that was 8 years ago, it could have changed.

No, to answer your question. I don't thinkanybody on this thread has had any success at the dealer UNLESS the dealer installed aftermarket Tokicos/springs/etc, but the success rate on that is also hit or miss. Have a great day [subtext=sarcasm].
Hi Guys, Well, I just talked to the Executive Board and they didn't know anything about the problem were having. They do now. There looking into specific answers for me and I should know by the end of the day. Plus my dealer has been checking every week and still getting the "Normal characteristic of car". Executive did say I will have to live with it if that's the case. I did tell her "this is unacceptable." Keeping my fingers crossed.
Holy crapolah!!!! Can you give a brief description [more than what you've already said] about the conversation? Did you mention all of us? Huh, did ya did ya did ya??? Wow, you actually pierced the corporate veil. . . in a way. . . sorta. I guess we'll just have to do what we've been doing. Wait.
Well, I didn't recieve the callback from the Executive board with the answers. Hopefully tomorrow. It was a very technical conversation that I had this morning. They were upset that the regional tech engineer didn't come out and personally ride in the car. I did mention you guys (that many also have the problem) and that the possibility of a fix is in the works but my dealership can't get this information. I thought they might be right back with the TSB info but nothing yet. I'll be calling again in the morning. I still don't understand why it's so hard to get info on this subject. Unless the pencil pushers got into it and they figured out a fix, but won't be coveredunder warrenty.
