Default Uncomfortable Headrest

I finally found the model, GT, color, white and a good price. Approx 3,000 off sticker. Only one problem. When I took a test drive this morning I noticed how uncomfortable the headrest was. The angle comes so far forward that I would have a serious neck ache in no time. The salesman said that it could only be adjusted up and down, that the angle forward and backwards couldn't be adjusted. Has anyone else had this problem and is there any solution? I would hate to not buy a car because of the headrest but I can't drive a car that's going to give me a stiff neck. Thanks for any replies.

I am lucky to be short in this case. I don't get bothered by it.

Yeah I like the headrest too. Its the first one that I can actually put my head on without tipping my head back. Just perfect I think

Also, do you have a pony tail or hair pins in your hair? Those are know to be uncomfortable.

I am 6' tall and I hated the headrest. Felt like it kept my head tilted forward. But after figurin out I couldn't adjust the tilt fo the headreast, I adjusted the tilt of the seat back. LOL works great feels great too.

I always comment on how much I like it. Most headrests are so far back (like my Expedition) if you use it, your looking at the roof and not the road. The Mustangs is the most usable/comfortable I've had.
