thanks. I don't think LT's would be a bad investment for an N/a - especially if you have plans to go F/i in the future. After my CAI/Tune comes in, headers and full exhaust will prob be my next choice (KooKs)

I keep trying to talk myself into LTs but i just cant justify 600-1000 on them for 10+ HP more then the $80 shorties i just got.

But i am still debating having them ceramic coated. Any idea how much that may cost me? A quick google showed a few places in GA that did the coating but non listed prices.
Also how do chrome headers compare to stock heat wise? And what about ceramic coated headers? Will they both be cooler then the stock ones?

Also, i just took a look at my BBK shorties and noticed a few things i thought was strange. Is only one side supposed to be threaded for an O2 sensor? Also why is the one bolt hole notched out? And one of the tubes is welded together on one side. And the seam isnt even straight.

That's correct, the notched hole is to help with installation and the o2 bung is in the header on the drivers side.

What I have experienced from my JBA shorties is that they improve the efficiency at part throttle more than full throttle. At full throttle using my accelerometer, i only picked up 8rwhp according to my g-tech accelerometer (take the accuracy for what its worth). However, my mpg increased from 22 to 25 on the highway for the same trip i make every weekend after installing the JBA's with no other change. I think they increase the torque at part throttle much more than they do at full throttle.

but what about that one weld? It looks like they ran out of pipe and just grabbed another piece to finish it but didnt even bother to weld it evenly

So guys, at a difference of $30 (give-or-take) do I go with the JBAs or the BBKs?

I chose the JBA headers over the BBK headers because of the design and build quality. And, as SirKnight pointed out, it does sound like it has a mild cam in it.

Thanks DLZ! I would recommend spending the extra 30 bucks and getting the JBA shorties. From what i've seen, they are much higher quality and have a couple of nice design advantages such as the D-shaped ports rather than the round ones like BBK.
