Tacobill,

Why did you chose to disconnet the O2 sensors instead of just unscrewing them from the mid pipe, installing the new mid pipe and then screwing back in the O2 sensors?

Was it because it is hard to get a wrench to them while still connected to the mid pipe?
Just as bboren described, I found it easier to transfer the O2 sensors off the car rather than attempt to strugle a wrench up there (and also wanted to avoid any excessivewire twisting). Not to mention, applying the anti-sieze.

I thought you did this along time ago Bill? Just now a how to? I swear I read this before?
Hey Stoenr, yup, you read this a while back (in TMS). I'm rewritting a few of my How-To's here in MF for all to enjoy![sm=smiley20.gif]

Well, I rolled up on a couple Sheriff's (nervous as heck!), but I layed off the gas and just cruised by them. If I was on the 'Go Pedal', I'm sure they'll have plenty tosay!! [sm=smiley36.gif]

How long did this project take, including battery removal and replacement? Also did you change the over axel pipe or leave the stock over pipes in place?

Do the 05-07's need MIL eliminators like the 99-04's do?

Well after doing a couple, I can swap it out in an hour. First timers can expect a couple hour job.

I still have the stock mid pipes. Besides that little pinch right over the axle, the stock set up isn't too bad.

Only if you're not running a custom tune.

Without either the eliminators or tune, the MIL's will come on anywhere from 50 miles to several hundred miles (that I've been told).

I see that you're currently running the LM's and waiting for the Stingers. Good call from what I've read everywhere.

The O/R-H with the Stingers are 'crazy loud'... but, with the L/M's, they're INSANELY loud!
