Strut mount (or 'bracket') doesn't solve the clunk. I have changed my mounts to Steeda HD and still get the clunk.

Can someone post picture of that 4R3Z-5025-A cross member brace installed in new '07s? It's pretty expensive, so
I need to know what it is first... thx.

It does if the mount was the problem. You may have something else going on. All on here who have gotten the OEM remake of the strut mount are happy so far with it. I saw a pic of the brace on here once. Might do a search and see if it will show up. I think it was in the original "thunk" thread by the wolfman. It is just a bar about 1 inch in diameter that is flattened on the ends with holes in it. Nothing to write home about.

I really feel that Ford's biggest problem is customer service. Everyone that works for Ford should be a customer service rep in anyway thatwe can. If a customer feels as though the company cares about their issue and resolving it,then the issue itself is usuallyforgotten.

Toyota isn't killing the domestics because their cars are THAT much better.......it's because they fix the problems so quickly and easily that the customers don't even remember what the problem was. Having a bad service visit or long wait for a simple repair causes long-term damage.
hats off you you sir

Ford's got some good folks, hopefully for Fords sake maybe they will learn to appreciate folks like you and 'Kzinti' (is he still around???) who go out of their way to be a 'friend at the factory' for their real customers.

I see a guy going by 'viperpilot' and some others over at blue oval have kinda picked up on Kzinti's thing of helping folks track their cars- very cool again, but Ford really messed up in my opinion by silencing Kzinti instead of making him head of customer service...I honestly believe the folks at ford corporate believe CRC is more than adequate...like the folks in the government think the economy is strong- so far detached from 'us' they cant see the truth.
CRC could be a 'call your dealer' loop of tape and noone would know the difference.

I have the same issue as everybody else. Does anybody know if a Ford dealer will warranty the strut mounts if the car is lowered? I would imagine, but some dealers can be richard noggins...
