Default radio paint is peeling

last night i noticed that the cd and am/fm butons next to the volume knob were peeling bc the green backlight was more exposed...i looked closer and the paint on those 2 buttons was bubbling and just rubbing off...those are the buttons i use the most but unless my fingertipsare made out of turpentine, i dont see why this is happening already on my 05 gt

+1 Just didnt see the reason for buying a skipper be it a 500 or 1000.
And just what does 500 or 1000 stand for. It not the wattage for sure.

I had the same problem on my 06 Mustang....although it was one of the 'seek' buttons. I took it to the dealership and they replaced it for free...under warranty. I have the Shaker 1000.

Default buttons are peeling for me as well

the seek buttons have almost all peeled on my 05 stang too. has anyone tried replacing just the buttons? is this an option? if not can anyone make a suggestion as to what aftermarket deck marries up to the mustang interior the best?

thanks again guys.
