i dont know about pitting. i punched the wheel like a moron and dented it with 2 knuckles. It's not really that bad, but it's my wifes car and she is adament that I fix it. I have no problem fixing it since it was my dumbass that lost control and hit it in the first place. I was just hoping this was a $5-50 mistake... not a $500+ mistake. [sm=guilty.gif]
Thanks for all the answers. this site is impressive. large number of posters in a very short time. I'm going to be sticking around learning more about the car and I will make it up to her (the car and the wife both) for the abuse.
