After getting the right tools assembled and making a parts run things went fairly smooth. If I would have had everything I needed it would probably have taken about an hour, start to finish. Overall I'm statisfied, it adds a whole new look. I am still looking for some way to fill the holes i didnt use on the chin spoiler so i can ditch the electrical tape patches, which you cant even notice unless you are right upon it. Anyway, here it be....

ok don't laugh, but i'm still new to the mustang of trying to add things to it but the spoiler chin, is it the one, meaning, adding an extra lower bottom, the front bumper? cause if it is, that's what i want for the 2006 V6 version, i'm not sure if it matters depending the type of car.

What all did you need for install? I know it has to be fabricated a bit, but is it pretty self explanitory? Im not very mehcanically inclined when it comes to tedious stuff lol, stone hands!

Came out looking good!! I have read that several folks have bought plastic plugs at Auto Zone, or whereever, to plug those holes.....What did you end up using to cut the honeycomb away??

Great job, looks hawt with the flat stripes......

thanks guys, i used a dremel and went to Sears and bought reinforced cutting wheels, 5 pack $6.99. Once i was done i used a palm sander to take away any rough edges. I used self tapping screws in the wheel wells, on the under side i used the four factory screws that were already there, they line up with the spoiler perfect. Then i drilled one hole on each side and put a bolt with washers. Its snug as a button.

All you need to buy is self tapping screws, 2 bolts, 4 washers, 2 nuts.

Tools needed:
Dremel
Cutting wheels
Sander
Socket set
Drill & Bits

You cut nothing on the stock GT bumper. All the cutting is on the gt500 lip. If you look at your stock bumper you notice that on the bottom, the sides are lower than the middle. So basically you have to trim the gt500 chin on the sides that way the middle goes up into that gap on the stock bumper. Hope that makes sense.
