If I remember correctly The last time I was sitting in a Gt500 I noticed it had a leather dashboard. The top of the dashboard is obviously exactly like a regular Mustang's but it was wrapped in stitched leather. Im not sure if it was aftermarket or if it came standard but if any one knows of the part number, or where to get this item please let me know...

My dash is wrapped in leather (it is a very nice option indeed!). It is part of the premier trim package which for me added two-tone interior as well.
shoot, i don't have any close up pics of the upper dash but it is leather and stitched
This was an option available on the 07, not just the GT500. Great option, wonder how hard it would be to change out...? I'm sure the dealer can give you the part number.

The part costs $1300, and it is extremely difficult to change out because it requires removing the dash trim, disarming the air bag etc. With the 08 you can no longer get this option without the 2 tone interior.

Actually the entire dash has to be replaced as it is one piece.
Also it is not real leather. I purchased the GT500 Leather Console lid and it is merely plastic that looks like leather and is hard. Not soft like leather should be.,

I think it's actually $1390, for the entire kit it costs $3250.

Doesn't the 2 tone interior only come on the CS and the GT500?
