i have that SS rear valance, not installed yet though, there is someone on here with one installed on a white stang, you can see it in their sig, but i cant remember who it is

and that GT/CS bumper is actually a good bit more than 300..i asked 3 dealerships about it...2 said $525+paint/install and the 3rd said $430+paint/install

Fallout, be careful with the dealer...

You buy that cover as a kit : It comes with the monting hardware etc... Retails for $399 (August price).
Don't have the part number handy.

If you buy the bumper cover alone, you get raped... $478, last time I checked.

It doesn't make any sense, I know, but the kit is cheaper.

im confused on what you just said...buying the cover WITH mounting hardware would be about $399 but just buying a replacement cover(as if someone with a CS got in a fender bender and only needed to replace the cover,not hardware)would cost more?..what kind of stupid ass logic is that O.o


oh well..either way im not going with it, im gonna use the SS one. half the price and a similar look

that is very ugly, i've also seen it on a car. it adds too much bulk on the lower half.
go ahead and get the CS bumper.... it's the same as the GT500 w/ a different part # and a couple hundred bucks cheaper.
i know, i got the more expensive one all because he put in the GT500 #

Was confused too... I didn't believe it when my parts man showed me this.
Back in August 06 those bumpers retailed for $218. Only for 2 months. No kits were available.

I'm just glad that Ford isn't my CPA[8D].

Just for fun, I'll PM you the part numbers tomorrowand see for yourself with the dealer prices.

wow, I can get the c/s bumper for 25% off dealers cost as a ford employee but I think I like the street scene one better

I swear the CDC Classic looks identical to the GT/CS .. Just don't get the center portion painted ..
