Are notthose things illeagal?
Cop sees the 4 emitters
and you get fined worse
than just a speeding ticket?
Do they just thwart the newer
laser radar and not the older
microwave doppler effect guns?
Good luck and dont feel too secure
that you will never get a ticket
ever again. Pacing or aircraft would
still work against you. Just the fact
that everyone is going slower and
you are passing everyone would
indicate speeding, just not how fast.

Hey Ortoch,

Just some things to keep in mind, I have a laser shifter on my car, and I have had 3 experiences with it so far (it's not widely used by cops due to cost). Each of the 3 times that I had a laser on me (and was jamming it) within 3 seconds or less the cop had switched over to Ka band (thats what they use in Socal). So be careful in that if you do jam a signal, most likely the cop will have a radar gun on you within 3 seconds that you won't be able to jam. Second, in some states now it is illegal to have your jammer enabled. I was originally from Az, which it's legal, California however is illegal and can get you a ticket.

States that have Banned the use of all jammers
California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia and Washington DC

How could you get 5 tickets and not have it go on your insurance? You spend money on a technique to beat the cops in court? Someone in your immediate family in law enforcement?

Dustin
Back in IL you just had to pay an extra amount and it would not go on your record if you didnt get another ticket within 18 months or whatever.....and you could get the tickets in different counties and they wouldnt know about the other ticket......this happened in HS once and neither tickets went onthe record and the total cost was only 135 a ticket. It differs from county to county, a got caught going to back to college 1 time and they had a $90 ticket fee and i had to come back and take a 4 hour class and it didnt go on the record.

Indiana has a similar type of policy and as long as a state cop is not involved i think each county acts individually. I havent gotten a ticket yet in IN though so i am not for sure on that, just one someone else told me from their experince. Now if i get a ticket in the same county though, i would have to pay more for both tickets and they both go on my record i think. Either way, depending how much you insurance would go up, $1200 is a lot to spend on something when in the 3 years of owning the stang i have only gotten pulled over 1 time and there was no ticket issued.

Yes cali is a little different than IN, around the loop in indy the speed limit is 55-65 in most places but i can go 80 without any problems....there are a few that are probably going around 90 but i usually dont do that often as they will pull you over and that would be a reckless drving charge also i believe....those you cant get out of as easily

Laser Jammers are only illegal in Minnesota, California, and DC...I have a Lidatek LE-30 and trust me, it works. The Blinder works well too. I'd be a little leary of the misspelled words on the box though...

Neat idea. Hope it works for you and not open people's garage doors as you're driving by.

This system is the BEST you can currently buy. It is illegal to use or sell in a lot of states but can be obtained from outside the US legally. It DOES work there have been tons of tests on it heres one for ya if you want an example of how it works...

In this one you see the truck turn the unit on after 3 passes and its completely undetectable...

In this one you can compare the undetectable car with the detectable one.... very cool

In this one you can actually see exact distances and hear the unit being hit by the laser very loud!

Hope this clarifies things for yall

True, forgot about probation in Illinois. Saved me twice. My two tickets were two years apart in the same spot on Route 29 north of Peoria in Lacon County.
