I currently have three Brenspeed tunes, but recently purchased (and received) Bama's race tune. I installed the tune, and made it about 40 feet before the limp home mode activated, quickly followed by the check engine light, a sudden drop in oil pressure, and then - nothing. I reinstalled a Brenspeed tune to get me home, and am trying to get in touch with Doug now.
I know there are several people out there who have had similar issues (I don't want to say this appears to be "common" theme with the Bama tunes, but let's just say it appears to be a theme the crops up more than once in a while), and for those of you who had, what was the primary reason that your issue occured? What was the issue with tune?
This probably isn't that big of a deal and will eventually get straightened out, but my curiosity has gotten the better of me.
Thanks - and Happy Friday.
EDIT: Also, does anyone know if Bama is open Saturday mornings? I may try to call first thing in the AM.

He might be around, actually since he has moved operation into his home for now he will be there to pick up perhaps. It doesnt hurt to call him.....pm me if you need his number.
As for the tune I have never had any problems but I know the people that have had problems usually get them worked out very fast.
Also so we may try and help, what are your mods and did you pull the codes to see what they were?
Yes, always carry your tuner. Another good reason is if you need gas but the station doesn't have the octane you require you may need to load the lower one. [/align]
