Thanks, that's good news. By the way MrSandman, that's the best sounding V6 I have ever heard.

I bought this Eddie Bauer car seat for my 3 year old:

http://www.target.com/Eddie-Bauer-De...Car&page=1

It looks great with the dark leather, and has not caused any problems with the seats. Be careful which you pick, because some have a wider base and molded in cup holders. I don't think these would fit as nicely as the one I bought.

Hope this helps.

How the hell did we all survive without carseats? My parents teathered my younger brother to the back seat in a body harness.

If the seats in the back of our cars had one more shoulder belt for each side.. they pretty much would be a child car seat..

Good question.

My parents threw my sister and I in the back of a 1962 Pontiac Tempest station wagon. I remember there was no carpet anywhere, juts hard metal and lots of sharp bits. I sure am glad we were never in an accident sliding around back there.

I'll have to check out some of the other carseats listed on this thread. Our Graco requires the passenger seat to be pretty far forward and upright for my 5 year old sone to have any legroom at all. Very uncomfortable for my wife. I was happy to see our vert had a third latch point behind the rear seat.

One other thing - a vert makes it a lot easier to get the kid in and out of the car seat - no stooping. With the top down I just bundle him up with a hoody and he loves it.

that's awesome!!

My son (he'll be 4 in Nov.) will sit in his booster seat, throw his hands up in the air and say, " go daddy go"...let me tell you, depending on where I'm at, I'll just about spin that car around when I hear that..LOL!!

I have 2 kids, ages 3 and 5. The 5 year old is in a booster (sits behind me), and the 3 year old is in a normal forward carseat (passenger side).

All 4 of us have travelled 3+ hours in comfort no problem.
