Default Hidden CB Radio

Has anyone heard of a way to hide a CB radio behind the bumper cover or something of that sort?

i'd like the functionality of a CB but don't want the ant. to detract from the looks, only need a couple mile range since its for road trips

walkie talkies FTW! Great for road trips usually have 10-20 mile range, depending on how much you spend

YES FINALLY MORE CBERS!!!!! dont try and hide a cb antenna, cause you will just destroy your range. when it comes to antennas the longer the better. if you are just going to use it on road trips i would suggest getting a magmount, that way you can take the antenna out easily so you dont have it in all the time. but if you half ass the antenna and keep like a 24 inch through the class antenna you are going to regret it because you will have no range at all. and don't even bother with handheld cb's because they are horrible. i have the 100 dollar cobra one and it can barely receive a half mile away.

bottom line i would say get the little sill and throw it on your trunk.

they actually make cb/fm/am radio antennas that look like our stock antennas, but they have no range at all and are extremely hard to tune for swr and almost never get a good ratio

+1 to everything that grass racer has said ()...

when i had my truck.. i had a wilson 3000.. great antenna.. but a little will with the magnetic mount would be perfect.. even considering it for my car since i still have my $120 cobra 29 like new sitting in the garage..

miss the PA too [&o]... but who knows.. maybe ill wire up something so i can have it where it hooks up easy and be able to take it/out and use it for road trips as well..

but i do wish i could hide the antenna as well.......
