Ford USE to have special Ford Removal Tools for their radios that looked like a big U, and the spacing was about 1.5". Looks like they went away from that this year. Looking at mine, I would imagine you have to take the center trim piece off of the dash (probably pull off gently all around) and then the mounting screws, bolts etc would be behind the trim. Hopefully somebody can give you a more precise answer as I've read a few posts about aftermarket radios/nav systems recently.
first open center console and remove the two screws near the hinge. then lift just the top section up carefully and work your way to the front. thier are to snaps in the middle an two at the front. you also have to pull your E brake all the way on. slide it up and arond e brake and shifter the trim ring will pop off set it aside. with the center trim.
then the two trim pieces on the side just pull straight forward two snaps each. that exposes the center trim. six(6) screws 7mm
now the fun part at the botton are two plugs for the climate controls, one at left is standard push in pin and pull the one on the pass side is a cam over style push the release in the top center then pull down and it spits out the plug. now gently pull the cover down and out to reach the top plugs (info switch, power and tc/haz/airbag) they all just push to release then pull. that exposes the radio. 4 screws 7mm three plugs one antenna all just push and pull. good luck also be careful reinstalling the console around the brake lever. i also have pdf files for all of this but the forum wont take them i could email them to you
