Anyone else ever seen one of these. I was dropping my car off for an alignment and recall fix and this was in the parking lot. I kinda like it. $44K though? Don't ask me what's under the hood. The sales department wasn't open and it didn't say on the sticker. Anyone know?
Forgive the picture quality. All I had was my cellphone.

looks overdone to me.. its a nice ride though.. haha southerncomfort edition? i swear i heard that before somewhere but i wouldnt be suprised if it was just a dealership given name.. hence my gt/ts (texas special) straight from the dealer like that
i kinda like the rims and the hood, ram air i believe
but if the sticker didnt say anything about engine mods, i would suspect it's stock
and since it's southern comfort ed., when you press the horn does it play Lynard Skynard?
That lookslike Ewalds on Layton in Cudahy......they always jerk around prices. I remember I stopped in about a year ago to look at a 500 and they wanted close to 30k over sticker[:@]I bet that car is all appearance mods and maybe an intake under the hood. Im not a big fan of the 4 tips.
looks like just another bunch of body kit parts to me. The only special editions that are really special editions come directlyfrom Ford, not some tuner or dealer add-on.
the "southern comfort edition" was a package started on Chevys a couple years ago.
A friend of mine drives a Southern Comfort Avalanche, which consists of a body kit, 20" rims, an interior upgrade package, and a 2 tone blendedpaint job (meaning the colors run into each other).
This package was offered on the suvs and trucks for a while, dont know if it still is... so basically a "southern comfort" sport car is a lot of buck for a little bang.
I would very seriously doubt that this is an authentic package on a mustang. probably a dealer thing.
