todays progress

intercooler mounted, pipes plumbed, turbo mounted and downpipe started.relocated the horns.

still need to trim on the bumper for the intercooler, finish the downpipe and make up the pies for the wastegate.i ran out of pipe so i cant finish up for now,and i need to order a few more v bands for the downpipe.i plan to pull it all off in the next day or two and throw my x-pipe back on for the dragstrip meet we are having at bradenton. while its off im handing it off to my dad who will weld it all up for me.then maybe next weekend ill throw it all back on for the last time and go get it tuned.

Thanks,

And great job on all the work so far.
there is no factory PSI gauge, thats the reason i needed the aeroforce. the factory sensor is only a switch, so it open or closed only at certain PSI, it wont show any variables.

Hmm I seem to remember that there was a oil pressure reading, but I might be thinking of Fuel pressure.

I usually monitor Coolant temp and IAT. I had the IAT relocated to after the blower so I can see the real number. Using a blow through setup on a turbo no relocation is necessary

Just a quick note, make sure that IAT sensor is located as close to the injectors as possible, somewhere on the manifold would be best. (Just like the supercharger kits that relocate them to the manifold). Also, adding another one on the inlet of the turbo would give you good numbers to compare between the two. It would tell you how efficient the intercooler is and how much every pound of boost you increase would also increase the IAT the engine sees.
What kind of boost controller are you going to use?

yes, thats a good ideal on IAT. my maf will only be about 12 inches from the TB. im hoping thats good enough for the computer. i would like to know the difference once it goes thru the intercooler, i could buy another sensor for the aeroforce.

im using a AEM boost controller thats built into the gauge. im really thinking that the 5psi spring in the wastegate may be enough i wont have to fiddle with the AEM. hopefully i can get 7-8 psi just off the spring.
