You don't..At least not the way Ford ships it. The aux input on a shaker 500 in 05 was designed specifically for the factory Satellite radio. You can purchase an input adaptor from P.I.E.

You need an FRD04-AUX

My aux input is in my center console, but maybe they added that after 2005.

If you have a 2006 or older, the connection for the AUX is in the back of the radio. Like it was said before, it is an adaptor (like the P.I.E.) that plugs into the radio, then the radio harness into it for it to work.

If you have a newer than 2006, I guess they located one in the center console (arm rest).

YOu dont have one. Any Mustangs from 06 and older didnt come with one. You have to buy an adaptor like everyone has said like the P.I.E. that you can find on E-bay for like $100. I just use a FM transmitter, not the best but it works I dont listen to my Ipod that much I like the quality of CD's.

That sucks i thought all 05+ mustangs came with the line in connection!!
I love having my ipod plugged in to my car!!
It's alot better than carrying a huge cd case...just cary around my little IPOD!!
But you could buy a FM transmitter.... the quality isnt great but better than nothing right??
