Default The ROUSH No One Ever Heard Of

Well, it happened again today. I haven't posted for awhile, and when I do, people have no friggin' clue what an Outlaw Edition by ROUSH is. It's ok, I never did either until I bought one. Good luck trying to Google it (tried), results in nada. So here is the deal with documentation.

NOTE TO MODERATORS: Can you please make this a sticky? As far as my researching nets, this would help those of us who have one find out about it as well as inform people who do not even know this edition exists.

-- Outlaw Edition was an appearance package put on by ROUSH at their headquarters in Livonia, MI. If you check your window sticker (mine's framed, as well as probably most everyone reading this) the bottom right hand corner has a "Ship Through" box. Mine is filled and reads:

ROUSH INDUSTRIES INC
28155 PLYMOUTH RD
LIVONIA, MI

-- The appearance package consisted of black FRPP 17" bullitts, ROUSH spoiler, and ROUSH Outlaw hood scoop graphic.

-- Due to licensing agreements, Outlaw Mustangs can not be advertised as ROUSH Mustangs by Ford Dealers.

-- It was available as:
Blue with White Stripes (Order Code: G9)
Satin Silver with Flat Black Stripes (Order Code: TL)
Performance White with Blue Stripes (Order Code: HD)
Torch Red with Flat Black Stripes (ORder Code: D3)

-- It required the Ford Dealer to have these order codes placed:
17" Wheel Option (Order Code: 64F)
Rear Spoiler Delete (Order Code: 13D)
GT Coupe Only (Order Codes: 130A or 140A)
GT Appearance Package (Order Codes: 54G)

-- Outlaw Edition components carry a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty backed ROUSH Performance, Inc.

-- Package costs:
WSD - $1,310
MSRP - $1,550

-- Package is assembled by ROUSH Perfromance, Inc.

-- A specific Outlaw Edition window sticker was added to the cars by ROUSH detailing the added components.

Included below is a pic of the dealer sales sheet pitching the program from ROUSH to the dealers. Also included below is a pic of the ROUSH service invoice (in this pic you can see the bottom of my window sticker with the SHIP TRHOUGH information).

If anyone knows production numbers, either total or by color, please chime in. It's taken me awhile to piece together the info listed above, but I have not been able to find production numbers on the program.

I forgot to mention that my signature pic is the stock package save for the ROUSH rocker panel stripe I added today.

Here you go I am thinking it is under the Low Content because these are the only ones that dont come with the Roush Front end.

Can also check your VIN on Roush Page to verify it is built by Roush.

Thanks for the links. I haven't seen those discussions before. I've tried the VIN before on the ROUSH page, it doesn't yield anything. For what it's worth, I did register the VIN with ROUSH in the owners section stating it was an Outlaw Edition and received a package in the mail from them with a letter that starts off with "Welcome to the ROUSH family of owners." I'm not sure if everyone who registers with them gets that or what. Maybe someone can shed light on that piece - I've always wondered about it.
