FRPP hot rod cams will be here tomorrow. Shop appointment has been made for Wednesday. Doug at Bamachips updated my THIRD original tune AT NO COST to work with the new cams (that guy is the best!).
Couple of questions... I've heard that the cam phaser bolts are "torque to yield" one-time use and will need to be replaced with the new cams. Is this true? And the cam cover gaskets should be re-usable, right?
Just trying to gather everything the shop needs prior to installation. Don't need any hang-ups...

I stopped by the local Ford dealer today. The parts guys couldn't tell me if they had the parts in stock, if the cam bolts were reusable, and whether the cam cover gaskets needed replacing.
He sent me over to one of the "service consultants" who actually knew what "torque to yield" meant and referred me to a local speed shop, which I will visit tomorrow for some "real" insight.
Worthless goddamn dealers... that's why my car has NEVER and WILL NEVER go back to a dealership for anything.
