About 2 months ago I was making a right turn in a parking lot (about 5mph) and my rear passenger tire ran over a curb (about 6 inches high). It made a pretty loud noise. I pulled into a space and expected to see some kind of damage - rim, bumper, etc.
I did not see anyting. I got home and looked under the car in that area and did not see anything either.
Over the past month, I have noticed a noise (not very loud - but it bothers me) coming from the rear passenger tire area WHEN I BRAKE FIRMLY. It's hard to describe the noise - kind of like a low "grrrrrrrrr". Again, only when I brake firmly and not very loud.
Anyone have any ideas about what this could be? I know it would only be a guess and I need to take it in to have it looked at but just wondering if anyone had a guess as to what I may be looking at - or what could have been damaged? Not looking forward to taking it in.
Thanks for any help - as always!!!!!

Had a friend in an '08 slide off the road in Germany hitting a ditch. Everything looked good but eventually it made some weird noises, ended up being a bearing.. get it looked at now before it gets worst and cost more...
Well - took it into the dealer to have them check this out and rotate the tires. They called and told me they could not hear the noise. They also said they had "checked it". I went in and drove the car with the mechanic and also could not hear it! They told me this kind of noise was "normal" though. They wrote it up as "could not replicate the issue" I was kind of suspicious about them "checking" it as when I went in again, they still had not rotated the tires so I wonder if they actually had it up on a lift and checked anything.
Now, about 2 weeks later I am hearing the noise again.
Any suggestions on how I should proceed? This is very frustrating and I want to make sure there is not a problem while it is still under warranty.
Thanks for any help with this - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty much they wont do anything until you can have them hear the noise, next time it does it drive straight to the dealership and have one of the service advisors jump in, that's what I did for my fuel pump issue, they replaced it immediately.
