I think it's just the new coating. Realistically 295 is a big tire. With no blower there's no reason to be spinning like that. I say burn off the finish on them and you will get the traction you want.

BTW i need more pics NOW!!!!!! I was thinking of getting the same wheels for my car. I also think your taste in paint for the car is a good one .......car looks great!

I know! I'm more worried about washing the car than putting the rear sportlines in at this point lol.

You can do both. After you stick the sportlines on, scrub out your wheel wells and paint the with flat or gloss black krylon. Trust me on this one

Ok so that one pic was simply amazing but we needz more. I cant believe how much the drop improves the cars look. I definitely need one. Did you add shocks and struts too or just springs?

Tire foams sticky though, I paint em and then coat em with wd 40, everything slides right off

Rims look great man! I've had the 305/35 DR's for about three weeks now. They seem to get better and better traction every day. They were slippery as hell the first few days.

I'm still spinning the tires a bit hitting 3rd gear though. I plan to get some LCA's and relocation brackets in the next few weeks. I want the car to HOOK on launch and when changing every gear.

I won't add any more power to this car until I get the traction issues completely under control. I hope the LCA's and relo brackets solve it.

the car looks good. looks totally different w/ the wheels and did you change the grill too? the change looks a lot better. but if you think the traction is bad now, just wait until summer.
