Congratulations on the new ride, especially the price man. I feel you pain w/ all the issues. Seems like everytime I try a new mod I have the 2 week headache of problems before it's resolved. Good luck w/ everything. You're really gonna enjoy it.

P.S.
If you want to pull some more power out of it you can look at some gears, UD pullies, CMCV plates. Or if you really want to get crazy, but still remain N/A cams and maybe headers. Good luck

Great deal! Congrats. I purchased my car last week out the door 16.5 for a 2006 GT Premium. All leather shaker 500, etc. Mine has 24K but still looks new. I purchased my CAI and Tune from Brenspeed the day after I purchased the car last sunday. Tune arrived at my door on Tuesday. Hooked it up and flashed the computer with no issues. The Brenspeed tune is amazing compared to the stock tunes. Also cam in 93, 91, and 89 octanes for the custom tune. Brenspeed rocks IMO.

Don't buy the advertisement of BP being the gas to use. It's nothing more than a small billboard for BP gas. I'm sure Ford received some subtancial royalties for putting their name on the gas cap. Quick Trip is very good quality gas, I use to live in Lees Summit and bought their gas all of the time and never had any issues. I just wish we had their stores here in TN.

I agree with the billboard comment for the most part. However I do believe there are differences in different brands of gasoline, especially the additive packages. I consider both BP and Shell good brands and I do not use off-brands. (As far as Quick Trip, I am not familiar with that brand and have not seen it in my area, so I have no input positive or negative.)

I'd kill for $17k on my '06 GT - 132,000 miles tends to flush the value out of the car fast!

First off, I wanted to thank all ya'll for your extremely helpful input. I've been quite busy these past few days so I'll give you a rundown as to what's happened.

As far as my Tuner/Intake issue. It has been officially resolved! I got my new SF3 Tuner with my custom tune and it loaded without any issue. I guess my previous tuner was just a bad apple. I installed that intake and the tune went on perfectly. Pair that with my Pypes X-Pipe and Cat back exhaust, I've got an awesome set-up, IMO. Car runs extremely well, and it sounds great.

I had a little issue with a horrible rattle/ticking after my exhaust got installed, but my exhaust shop threw it back on the rack and tightened up some stuff a few days after the install, and now there is no ticking/rattle at all.

I also installed a Kenwood in-dash DVD/iPod ready/Cd player head unit. It looks really clean, and it works well with my Shaker 500 system. I had to buy an extra part to install for my door-subs in order for them not to "pop" every time I turn on the unit. I ran an iPod cable through the center console and now I can control my iPod from my head unit. It's pretty slick.

I dropped off all my body parts at a local Ford Dealer to get my Cervini Window Louvers, Quarter Panel Louvers, and my hood scoop painted/prepped/installed. I had some serious issues with a previous body shop not wanting to do what they originally said they'd do, so I decided to go to the professionals and get those body parts installed correctly.

Well, that's my update so far, I will TRY and get pictures up once my body parts are installed. Thanks again for your help!!
