No offense meant Southern, but do they make anything that actually matches the stock carpet?

K&N air filter $43.84 at Mustang Parts Outlet.
BMR Front A-arm Support Brace 2005+ Mustang $59.95

Not really needed....s197 chassis is very stiff as it is.
I disagree with both of these statements .
A K&N filter can pay for itself over time and give someone a few hp that is never going to get a CAI or tune.
CAI + tuner = $500 Vs $43.84 K&N

Any added stiffness is welcome and stiff as it is there is always room for improvement.

no i will agree, KN is a waste of money, CAI/tune is mustang modding 101. it should be your first mod. The KN adds like 2 hp. On a 300 HP car that is nothing, dyno error even if you think it can be measured.

And as for the brace, again money much better spent elsewhere. Save up for the CAI or wheels or something....spending money on all the little things adds up fast and you would have saved enough for the bigger impact mods.

3DCarbon Headlight Splitters 2005+ Mustang (Pair) $89.00

Steeda Intake Spacer For 2005-07 Mustang GT $89.95

Rear Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets $97.62

UMI Tubular Lower Control Arms 2005+ Ford Mustang GT $114
$114 would still be under $100 if your rear if your rear bushings are worn out because they come with prothane bushings

Economics 101- a stock replacement is $11.00 and it is a good recommendation to replace a paper filter every oil change as good maintenance procedure . While someone may be saving for a CAI AND tuner $500. They can reach their goal faster if they plan on adding CAI later .
K&N price edit found one for $30.00
$11x3=$33.00 ( If you do a lot of driving a K&N filter will save money after the 3rd filter change that can be put towards a CAI)

a replacement air filter can be found at the local autozone for about $6 actually and i would still never tell someone to get a KN. If i was going to actually reccommend getting a better airfilter then i say get a Amsoil filter
