Default Door handle area rattle

You know that little flat piece of cheap plastic behind the interior door handle that rattles around? Is there an easy way to stop that from rattling? My car is under warranty but my local dealer is a thief so I would rather fix it myself.

Pop it out with a butter knife & stick either a small piece of foam tape (single sided or leave backing on other side) or my favorite it the soft side of sticky backed velcro.
Rattle gone.

There is a thread about rattles & fixes on here somewhere.

I have the same rattle on both doors, very annoying. I've been meaning to pop it out and try to put some foam behind it but I haven't got around to it yet.

I popped mine out and put 2 strips of extra moleskin I had laying around on the piece and it stopped the rattle

Mine does it too but my Stingers usually drown it out. Either that or I have the sound system drown it out.

Mine did as soon as i put my JBA A/Bs on from the slight drone. I just poped mine out and left it out. I was gonna put more hockey tape around the taps to make them tighter, but i think that foam i idea is way better.

another great fix is weatherstripping. the foam tape. get a roll of it from your home improvement store and cut to fit. its got an adviesive to it and just put it on the backside. it should fix it. I took it to the dealer with about 10 other issues. and they actually fixed this one

Just did this tonight. I put a thin layer of black silicone on the back. Worked great!
