Talking Edelbrock Supercharger install underway!!!

I know what "Brown's doing for me"... delivering a couple heavy packages with Edelbrock all over them!!!!

After almost 3 months of waiting, I finally received the long awaited news this morning... tracking information! But timing is terrible as I need to wrap up a bathroom remodel before starting this project

Wish me luck as being one of the first to install something like this seems a bit daunting. But as long as I take my time, it should be a ton of fun and very rewarding come spring!

Woohoo! We of course, NEED full documentation of the install and dyno sheets, videos, etc. There is a post over on Modded Mustangs with pics of an Edelbrock install. Heres a link if you haven't seen it:

Sweet! Can't wait to see the final results. I have been doing some debating over what supercharger to go with when the time comes and the edelbrock has got me quite intrigued.

Yeah, that's the one they just installed at Tillman. But I also got the full install manual from there as well... which was nice to review in advance.

There's a video on youtube I found today of JDM doing a dyno run with one on Jim III's car. They didn't show HP numbers, but I couldn't hear it whine. The only whine was from the dyno. This to me is good as I don't want to hear a s/c'er whine. I'd rather hear exhaust. But maybe that's just b/c the base package is a 5 psi. Perhaps more boost will make it whine some.

Keep in mind though, that JDMs motor is not stock so there numbers are not a good gauge... but I did see something like 527RWHP with 12psi on their yellow car.

I would not mind things staying quiet as that would help maintain the otherwise stealth/sleeper look with my ragtop
