Default Boomtubes to Loudmouths

Has anyone went from Boomtubes TO Loudmouths and were happy/unhappy?

I currently have Boomtubes. They sound great, I have no complaint there, but I hate the way they look. I cannot for the life of me get both sides even....passenger side is hanging slightly below the driver side. Some people don't notice it but I'm a perfectionist so it annoys the crap out of me.

I'm thinking about switching to the MBRP muffler deletes. They are essentially straight pipes like Loudmouths but have a 4" tip. I've also heard that the fitment on these are perfect unlike the Booms. Oh, and I don't plan on doing anything extra to the exhaust (i.e. catless downpipe, etc.)

I love the sound of my Boomtubes. I watched them being installed. The mechanic spent a lot of time getting them to fit perfectly. He had to torch the hanger rods and bend them several times to make them fit. But in the end they were perfect.

If you are happy with the sound I recommend that you take them to a shop and have them reinstalled. It'll be cheaper than switching to another brand and maybe not be happy with the sound or the fit.

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.

I started with SLP loudmouths, too obnoxious for me. Had FRPP stingers for for a couple years, too much drone. Happy as hell with the Boomtubes, perfect fit, no hangar bending required.

Like I said, I have no problem with the sound. They sound awesome. They just LOOK like crap.

I've had two different shops try and line them up to no avail. They're better than they were, but it's not perfect.

Here are mine and they line-up perfectly. You need to find a better shop.

BOOMTUBES all the way. I have BBK LT's,HiFlo catted X and bt. I love the sound and as others have said it can be a real head turner. They do have a drone zone but you can increase your rpms or decrease them and its ok while your at a steady speed after the zone. Its really awesome at WOT. Heres what it sounds like at a cold start
