Unless you fly down the autobahn on a regular basis, which I dont believe you are from Europe, it doesnt seem to be that big of a problem.

The AC compressor control is color=red]RPM [/color]dependent.
If the RPMs are above a certain point for too long,
the compressor un-clutches to prevent compressor over-rev
damage. There should be enough pressurized liquid before
the orifice/evaporator to get you thru the off cycle of the
compressor. Push it and the compressed liquid is gone and
the AC performance suffers.

Naa I don't get to cruise at over 100 unfortuniately lol but ocasionslly I'll go a few miles at that speed late at night, I was just curious about it.

I've actually done that before, windows down, sunroof up, WOW was that windy lol!!!!

Ya, super secret option from Ford only offered for 2 months in 2005

It really sucks air into the cabin when the windows are down/cracked too

I don't know about your area, but I would be worried about hitting a deer or some other critter late at night and doing some serious damage. I know it sucks at 70 and would be that much more dangerous at 100.

Also, whenever I've gone over 100mph, I already had the AC shut off as not to put a drag on the engine.
