Question A/C not cold @ >100

So whenever I cruse at greater than ~100mph my A/C no longer blows cold, but rather warm/hot. It's a little irritating but no biggie. I was simply wondering if it was normal, also why it was doin that.

Ha, I have no answer but I can guess what kind of replies you're going to get. I am into this thread thinking you meant 100 degrees.

The stock tune is supposed to shut the air conditioner compressor off at WOT. Maybe your tune is set to shut it off before you reach WOT. Just a thought.

That's weird, though I guess I never really tried having the AC on at 100. Huh. Something to try when she gets back from the shop.

i'd imagine it's normal. since your engine is working harder to keep at a higher speed, maybe there is a 'bypass/shutoff' mode for the a/c to help lessen any parasitic drag....

i don't know if that is anywhere close to being right, but it kind of sounds good

Reminds me of a race car driver bringing in his street car to a mechanic complaining of a vibration above 140 mph
