I'm sure 05elnr or anyone else who was at the 45th show and got to hear this system will chime in on just how kick @ss this system sounds and they had it playing off of a Shaker 500 head unit in a 08 or 09 Shelby GT

It would be tempting, I had been looking at JL audio's 13" sub with a descrete box designed for the 05+ mustang but that is 1,000 alone. This looks like a better alternative, and kicker makes a decent product.

Too bad it costs more than a set of kooks LT headers..

I'll be putting it in this weekend. I have it sitting at my house right now and after looking over all the parts I must say I'm impressed. Looks to be a very easy install and they send you pictures and directions for each part. I'll take some pic's of the kit tonight and get them posted up and then I'll take pic's of my install and any issues I have or tips to make the install go faster. I use to install systems for about 3 years so I know alot of short cuts. I can report that it is indeed "plug & play", I most likely will do a fully "how-2" install write up on this.

Awesome, this is just the thing I was looking for. So, I guess if you have the 1000 you take out the existing pair of subs and the new single sub box goes in it's place?
Thanks for the info!

Also, very interested in pics of the 4-channel amp that goes under the glove box. Thanks again.

Here are the pictures for the system parts and wire harness's. Everything was packaged good and arrived at my house with out any issues. I'll post up where the Amp mounts at along with other install pic's and my review of the system and any tips. Note that you can't order any of this threw any other place but Shelby. Not even Kicker has these parts as they were all custom made for Shelby who own this system. As you can see by looking at the parts these are custom made to fit your factory mounting locations without having to mod anything.

In my old age(55) & having a major heart attack this looks appealing to me in the fact it looks to be a fairly easy install. I don't have the energy anymore & would more than likely pay a shop to install this system.
Heres some of the systems I've built in my previous show vehicles: http://mysite.verizon.net/res1c0ed/ricksrides/
