I put sound deadening mat in both doors and all of the trunk. When I change out my carpet next month I will finish up by doing the full floor area. It makes a huge difference just with what I have done now.

dude, this system is sick, exactly what i was looking for. even though the price tag is a little steep, the price seems to compensate the easy install and factory look. cant wait to get it. i do have some questions though; i plan on buying the kit in stages while running the factory shaker 500 HU and, from what ive gathered, there is no connection in the HU for the rear sub, which is what i would probably buy first. if its truly plug and play, how does the shelby system's sub plug in, unless im completely wrong about the HU?

How much did it cost and solobaric is IMO a better sub.....

remember that Kicker designed this system for Shelby....they would not put crap in Shelby's car.....or offer a system for this price that sucks either....they do have a name to uphold and they are and have been in the business for many yrs and are top notch..

does anyone watch WCC?

For a limited time only, the Shelby Store is offering Team Shelby Club members 30% off of select Shelby Performance Parts.

And we're not just talking about license plate frames and caps. Many of you have been asking for Shelby Extreme 6-piston brakes, Shelby SuperChargers, aluminum GT500 drive shafts, Kicker sound systems and more - and that's what you'll find in the Shelby Store. Click here to see what items are in the store by category.

Here's a sample of what you can save on:

• Shelby Kicker Premium Sound System
Regular price: $1,399. Instant $200.00 savings = $1,199.
$1,199. less 30% = $839.30
Total savings of $560.00

Way overpriced and way underpowered.
You are basically paying for the Shelby name
and not the Kicker speakers.
There are better speakers out there for way less $$.
But to each their own...

One of the mustang magazines did a detailed write-up
on the install and I was not impressed at all.
December 09 - Modified Mustangs & Fords.
The amp for the 5x7s only puts out 46Watts RMS per channel.
Just a few watts more than the 500/1000 stocker does.
And only 200 watts for the 12" sob. Thats way underpowered.
