Default little help w/ the hood pins

I have a GTS hood and I just picked up a set of FRPP hood pins. I'm not 100% sure were to mount the pins. I looked at the DIY and the location won't work w/ my hood. If anyone has pins w/ the same hood, please chime in, or if anyone has a good spot by all means tell me. I don't want to start drilling and not be able to use the new hole I just made.

Thanks

that's what I was thinking. If I use some red locktite on the threads do you think it will be tight enough to keep the pin from walking or wobbling around?

Blue would be fine but it should work without it.....could be wrong though and test it out before going 120+ on the freeway

Some appropriate sized StainlessSteel washers
would impart enough surface friction to keep
it from 'walking around' and would vastly improve
the non-wobblyness of the situation if is actually
warrants it. I dont see a wobblyness problem mounted
like 05 mustang did it. And I dont think it
would 'walk around' either. Thats a pretty big nut
and threaded hood pin there. It looks like it fit the
OEM hole perfectly. Its amost like the holes were
placed there by Ford just for that hood.......

How bout some pics when you are done for my fridge?

Hey I know this is an old thread but I need help with this very problem. I put the hood pins thru that hole near the headlight. Um, its very loose. If I screw it all the way till it hits the headlight, its fine, but it wont come thru the hood. I have a Cervini's type IV by the way. I just need some ideas to get this situated. It sucks when you cant finish a freakin project.
