This might help with the shift light endeavor - or possibly make things worse, who knows.

Anyways, I went to my dealer and my service manager was nice enough to print off the VIN feature description table for my car, which also lists the programming for the car's various control modules on the CAN bus system. I noticed two interesting things in this list..

First off - the car's production date is 5 days before my birthday 6/4/05
Second - one of the module settings lists THIS....

TDANH: SHIFT INDICATOR LIGHT-ENABLED

WTF?

“Sync” on the mid-year 08s and all 09s is pretty darn cool!
