No. There isn't a light there. Just the possibility for a light. You would have to install an aftermarket shift light... but you could possibly wire your own light with the aftermarket kit so that it illuminates the UP arrow.

I don't know if this counts as a "hidden/cool" feature but the back seat comes out really easy, just pull two tabs on the front lower edge on either side and it pops out really easy! Makes it really easy to run wires for subs back to the trunk...

+1, very interested in this as well. What makes the "difference" on why or why not a 09' vs. 08' can have Sync? There isn't anything different as far as I am aware...But I could be very wrong

Nothing special, but when you drive off and have the trunk open(in my case just popped open, but not the entire trunk lid up) the digital dash will display "Trunk Ajar"

Don't know if I was this counts but my stang was started already and I sat for a min talking and went to start it again and it didn't make a sound. I mean in all other cars I had if you did that it would scream.
