I'd love to get that to work. Don't know how. Is it an automatic thing only?

In reading some of the threads, I often think that the Owner's Manual is a hidden feature to many.

Well back to the gas guage thing I found out exactly how much you have left after it hits zero. I was going through illinois on I-64 to Saint Louis and somewhere in the middle of Illinois I had in between 1/2 and 1/4 and said 100 miles left on tank. I drove and drove and no F'ing gas stations were open at midnight on the interstate I actually went 128 miles with the gas I had in it before it ran out. So 28 miles after it goes to zero is what you have left. I walked 2 miles in freezing cold to the next gas station and the douche made me buy a gas can and paid a tow truck guy driving by 10 bucks to drive me 2 miles then pissed off emptied the 5 gallon bucket in my car and threw it onto their wonderful Illinois streets. Oh and that was after driving straight from Raleigh, NC to the middle of Missouri and that made the trip oh so great and I was tired... RANT OFF

Johnboy7701, thanks for the info. Sounds like maybe one gallon left when the gas gauge turns red.

No, I saw alot of discussion about it a while ago on another forum, it's apparently in all mustangs but it is there for the GT500 because they get a functioning shift light. Why ford or any of the mustang tuners have not employed it in our cars, I have no idea. I may be wrong, but activating it should be as simple as changing some programming in the car and maybe adding a bulb. Anyone gotten this to work?

Why would you need a shift light in an automatic?

I'm not sure if the other year models have this, but with my 07 GT, when I step on the gas, my girlfriend's panties come off.
