Default rockauto discount code & another thing about paint work

i recently made a purchase off rockauto and they gave me a discount code, good for 5%. expires july 19. so if you guys want it, shoot me a pm and i'll definitely send it your way.

and now on to the other thing;

my car is still in the shop getting worked on, the fender is looking back to normal and the door panel is looking fantastic. my question is, is $300 a good price to patch up the right side gt emblem holes and repaint? they said they'd cover the left side for free because it's part of the "affected area"

so again, is 300 an adequate price for one side or is he just trying to dig in the pockets?

also, mazda 6 rental car...NOT even close to fun, this 2.3 is not even half as fun as my mustang

one more week, crossing fingers.

if they are repainting the entire panel it seems like a fair price to me

they said they'd have to paint into the door, so would that be painting the whole panel?

i just want to make sure it's a good deal. the other option is, have them finish the left side, drive around town with gt emblems on only the right side, find a shop to finish the job. but my car has already been in the shop for a week and i would like to limit the shop time.

Yes, that would be painting the whole panel and blending the paint into the door panel to insure it matchs so yes thats a good deal "if" thats what they are doing.

Agreed, that is a good price if that's what they're doing. I'm having my entire front end done a second time because the first guy f'd it up and I had emblems and antenna removed. My price was higher. Since they're removing the emblems and fixing up the holes, this would be the time to remove the antenna if you don't want it on the fender. Not to make you go and spend more money but . . .

Also make sure they're doing weld to close up the emblem holes.

im gonna keep the antenna cuz i don't mind the tiny 4 inch antenna that was made from my mechanic
