Default Roush CAI without tune... tune may come later.

I was thinking about ordering a Roush CAI, for now it will be without a tune.

Will I feel any noticeable difference? A tune will probably come later.

What do you guys think?

Its supposed to add: 17 horsepower and 9 ft-lbs of torque without a tune.

Is that noticeable?

$323 for just an intake!!! What a freaking rip off!!!

Oh, it gets better:

The "ROUSH" logo is also featured on the kit, thereby stamping your car with the mark of the leader in automotive performance. As a result, this kit not only makes your car faster, it makes it look faster when you open your hood.

Dude, really?

Get a new bullit, steeda, Jlt or c&l...cost less and perform better.

I don't know if it requires a tune or not but a stand alone CAI might net you 5-8 RWHP... MIGHT. If you believe the manufacturers claims then I have a bridge to sell you.

Do it right and buy any of the CAI & tune combos from Bama or Brenspeed.

Do yourself a huge favor and by a Airaid CAI. Airaid makes Roush CAI, it's the same exact intake, but cheaper....

My "ROUSH" Intake is awesome, especially since I got it tuned

again, ditto on the airaid over roush. i have the airaid and i did notice a difference at around 3500+ rpm (car pulls a lot harder) plus i get an extra 1 mpg, which isn't much but it helps.

still can't figure out why everyone is hating on this cai, it does have a removable inlet so when you do decide to get a tune, you can remove it and make it a 4" diameter intake (just like c&l, jlt, etc. )
