Default Who Has Used Wal-Mart Tint To Tint Tail-Lights?

Has anyone here actually gone and used Wal-mart tint to tint their taillights?

If so how hard was it to actually cut the tint and get it to fit and not be a mess or bubble etc?

I am not asking anything about VHT night shades.
I know about them and know how to do them.

If anyone has does this could you tell me how difficult it was and perhaps do a write up on instructions, hints that would make it easier?
Thanks!

i didnt do the tail lamps, but i did use cheap tint for the front and rear bumper marker light lenses and the 3rd brake lamp lense. the tail lamps may be quite a bit more difficult because of the uneven surface you will need to cover.

but it was very easy to do on a flat lense like the bumper lights. just use the installation solution and a heat gun/hair dryer and you will be good. and dont forget to get a squeege or an old credit card to smooth it on.

when you tinted the side markers and that, did you do it on the outside of it and if so, did water do anything to them?
