Default Supercharger installs in/near Texas???!!??

Im now in planning stages for a supercharger, FI install. But Brenspeed is 24hours of a drive away from me.

Anyone know of a closer place to Texas that warranties their work? And is a reputable place to get this kind of work done?

It would help to know what part of the great country of Texas you are talking about.
There are reputable installers, and a few good tuners.

You should also try some more local Mustang forums for closer installers.

I'm pretty sure that DallasMustang will do installation. I've never needed them but known of them for close to 10 years now. You can call 1800mustang I believe, or just check their site @ dallasmustang.com

I've never used Dallasmustang but I went there once to take a peek around.

They had 2 cars on the dyino including a new Ford GT.
The guy that owned it had the car flown in from Washington State.
He said he would NEVER take his GT ANYWHERE else when I spoke with him.
He DROVE his Lamborghini there because the car was going to be in the shop for 4 days and he did not want to be without "adequate" transportation.
I shat you not...

Get this... the guy was only 26yrs old!
Apparantly his family had some old school money.

He let me take a ride in his Lambo and after the GT was off the dyno I sat in it and started the engine and got a real good look at it.
Incredible how much money some people have.

Needless to say I would think they do pretty good work if this guy had his Ford GT there.
And from what I saw they did good work.
They had a good number of stangs there including a GT500, a few Termi's and a number of classic stangs all being worked on.

I think they would be worth checking out.

If in Houston area I would check out Fastlane performance. They warranty their work.

If in Dallas area I would strongly recommend Gear Heads.

My cousin works for RUF and is a very very picky detailed mechanic, and Gear Heads is the only place he lets touch his car...which may mean nothing to you, but I think it says a lot if you knew him. It is worth a look.

I like how they advertise full part swap prices......$450 for FRPP gear swap out the door.

Check 'em out.

For Houston, I like quartermile solutions.

Very knowledgeable, and has had tons of termis and what not in his bay that he was working on the last few times I've been.

He's more of a hole in the wall kind of place compared to some of the bigger shops, though.

If you're looking for someone who's been around forever, you could also try strictly performance here in Houston.

Wow! Thanks for that link to Gear Heads! That's really cool that they offer package deals like that with product + installation. Makes me wanna go drop my car off one morning, catch a Ranger day game and go pick up my freshly modded car! Would make a hell of a day!

Thats close to what we did....dropped off the car at 9am....went to the racetrack....they called at noon and said it was done.

Pretty much if you waved $1500 in their face you could probably get cams and gears installed and out the door.

Sorry guys, I was travelling after I posted that...

I am in Corpus Christi, but anything in Texas is about 8-10 hours away. ALOT easier than 24 hours one way!
