I gotta agree here. If not youll end up paying more later in repairs or heartache. They have some covers with padded sides for ding protection too.

you dont need a special cover for the gt500 conversion. here is the cover i have. I got it before the conversion (it was intended for a regular gt) and it actually fits better now that i have chin spoiler.

its a weathershield hp, and in the $250-$300 range

This is the cover I used on my 2005 GT:


It's the one with the pony emblem on the front. I got it from CDC for about $174 total, back in 2005.

It doesn't quite fit my 2008 Shelby GT vert, as the front doesn't tuck under the spoiler as well.
