06elnr, where did you get those rear taillight covers or did you manufacture them? They look awesome and so does your car! Me like!

It's nearly impossible to do something original and tasteful on a Mustang. Not that it's a bad thing, there are just so many Mustangs out there.
Well said for sure though rad-rob is pretty damn original can't say as I've ever seen another stang anywhere NEAR his love that double round tip side exhaust and rear fascia HOT
06elnr has a very original stang to come on a 2-tone gt500 conv roush spoiler god speed wheels slammed on sportlines yea thats SICK
Haha definitely. There is another black Stang that has red stripes...a
GT500 that Sheridan Ford has had on their lot FOREVER...
Do you take the SSP out often? I'm racking my brain trying to think if I've seen you around
Newark before.
I just got the SSP outa the body shop on Friday 6/26. I'm rebuilding it to be a driver, with authentic
CHP lights (covered while driving) and antennae. Debbie drives our 2005 Mineral Gray V6 vert all the
time - it runs polished 17" Bullitts with big/tall 275/50R17's out back.

One of the first to have matte black stripes on a black car. 18" Halibrand wheels, centre fog lights and Legend front splitter. Oh, and it's a daily driver with 60,000 miles on it.
Matte black stripes have been on these cars since the first year they came out (2005). How could you POSSIBLY know if you were one of the first to have them? Especially given your car is a 2006.

No I do not claim to be one of the FIRST ONES to have them on.
I pondered the idea since 06, and did not get them done until recently.
My only claim to originality is putting pinstripes with the matte black and having a bit different measurements than most people.
The car is pretty much blacked out now with some more goodies since then, but I do not have the new pics yet to show.

I make the claim only for my neck of the woods. Sorry that I did not preface my remark. My paint guy has painted stripes on dozens of Mustangs, but had never done -or seen- matte black on a black car. He was so new at it that he had to do it twice because they didn't come out right the first time. And, after three years, they are starting to shine more, so they still are not right. But, I'll live with them until I get the car resprayed in a few months. 60,000 highway miles destroys a front end.
