Default '07 GT---2 years and 2 months old...dead battery

Wow, I would have expected a battery to last longer then that...at least it was towed for free and replaced for free.

Anyone else had a new cars battery die that quick?

Just curious...not really complaining...Ford was great!

I'll take a guess and say that you haven't read the dozens if not hundreds of threads about the Motorcrap batteries failing prematurely. Although quite a few of the failures were assisted by the also well documented battery drain issues with the '05's, '06's and some '07's, the fact remains that there are a large percentage of owner's that have also experienced very, very short OE battery life.

Not necessary, IMO. You'll most likely get some fesh responses plus others unfamiliar with this issue will have an opportunity to see it.

My son always leaves the keys on the shift boot...I went to move it and it was dead.
Just a loud ticking noise...not even a grrrr....grrrrr.....gr....as the battery died.

Oh well

Do you have shaker 500 or other things that suck juice out? My 07 hasnt died yet....i have deluxe so no 500. Maybe that'll help save my battery. Honestly though, I cant wait for it to die. I have my lightweight battery picked out already
