Default where and how much????

I want to get a complete new transmission for my 05 v6 manual. my friend has an 06 gt and hers is so much smoother shifting and everything. since i need a new clutch I just want to buy a full brand new where and how much will it be??

so you want to pay 700+ for a new tranny when yours isnt even broken, just because you "think" it will shift smoother. Logic went out the door today didnt it?

Also they are different trannys so it still wont be like the GTs no matter what

LOL well I had a tranny shop here in town look at it and they said all the synchros are messed up and they want to rebuild it so either way I'm going to spend alot of money

it's going to be expensive and the gt transmission isn't even good. Get the GT500 one, i will cost you $3000 you need the adapter plate that some one around here makes. It's more than worth it though for 6 speeds and it's easy to bolt up. A few people have already done it the transmission is the most parised one of the past few decades Tr-6060.

sell the car,imo.....i agree with legion. the tranny isn't that good on the gt, but it would be a little crazy,imo, to put the tr 6060 on a v6
