At the Ford Owners Event I attended yesterday where we got to meet with engineers and discuss problems with our cars - I brought this issue up. A couple of the people sounded surprised but at least one of them had heard of it before. They said it was fixed in Job2. I said, "well how does this help the hundreds of Job1 folks?" They didn't really have an answer. I said that a TSB needs to be created otherwise the dealers won't know what the hell is going on. A couple of the local Ford service reps were at the event, they took my name, phone number, vin, etc, and are going to call my local dealer and tell them exactly what to do - replace the ACM. Lets see if Ford comes through, and if this indeed solves the issue.
As a side note, even with a GT500 running his engine next to me, the Ford guys were able to hear the noise being generated.

I do not have this noise, I listened and tried different things but non noise.
Mine was build in the week of Oct 26.
I will post you the code of the radio (but we have people coming an 20 minutes and my wife would be mad if I go out now and look at the Mustang ...)

Your car was built the week of Oct 26? Me too. How long have you have your stang for? I still haven't seen mine.
I picked up my Dad's new ride a few weeks back (he is out of the country now). The radio has the exact same noise. How can I check the build date? It does have the Shaker 500 w/o nav
I posted back awhile ago that I didnt have the noise. I have the nav system but after reading more about it I think I do have it. Was sitting in the car washing the windows and there was a long pause in the music. I could hear like static coming from the speakers. So I played around with it a little. If I turn down the volume to 1 or zero its still there but if I turn it off it goes away.

Since nearly every NAV owner says they don't have this noise, I'm wondering if what you're experiencing is related to something else. I believe you don't even have the same ACM - as it's replaced entirely with the NAV unit.
