Welcome to bama land. LOL! Not getting replies back in such a common thing there. Sometimes you'll get lucky and get a quick response but usually not.
The Bama Race tune's touchy throttle is awesome. I really like their tunes.
Also, with bama (if you can get a hold of them) they'll update your tune for a new mod for free. You are not required to buy the mod from them. With Brenspeed, you are required to buy the mod from them, otherwise you have to pay.
I went with a JLT and custom Brenspeed tune. I liked it but sold the JLT when I had Brenspeed install the Saleen SC. I can't speak for Bama but Brenspeed has been outstanding to work with. They are always very responsive and I would have no issue buying from them again.
As far as the JLT intake, it makes great power but a couple of things annoyed me about it. The first is that the hose that connects to the TB was not a formed hose. It was simply a large round hose. I got it to fit but it was a PITA at first. I also got a small split in mine when trying to install it. The second thing I didn't like was the plastic intake tube. It just seemed "cheap" to me. If I ever replace the stock Saleen CAI I'll go with a better quality CAI then the JLT. Of course this is just my opinion and I'm very anal about this stuff so keep that in mind.
TuNgStEnS197.. thanks for the offer but i already ordered the combo from bamachips about a week ago.. and Mike02z i hope the cold air intake wont give me that many problems ! lol
i also hope i get an email or tracking number or the product or w/e from doug, because i live in mi and once the weather gets colder i put my car in the garage and not use it till end of winter.. and the weather is starting to get cold.. i wanna install the combo and enjoy my car for couple of weeks..
