Default Help me identify this intake manifold...

This was given to me by a friend and I am trying to identify which year and motor it comes from...

My buddy worked for the company that made the valve springs for the 4.6L and 5.4L 3v engines. He ran the durability test lab and occasionally was given fully dressed engines, which he stripped down to just the block and heads for testing. The rest of the stuff he occasionally sold or just threw out. He saved this:

I’m at a loss as to which engine this belongs to. It appears to have an 80mm round throttle body, but with the same sensors as found on the oval ones….and it bolts up to the 3v heads just fine.

Any ideas???

Thanks,
-Alex

It looks just like the 3v one but with a different TB. It has to be one of the other cars (like F150 perhaps) that use the 3v heads.

Why did they smash the f**k out of the intake tube? I'm pretty sure that doesn't help the flow at all.
