kenwoodforums look in the 9140 section and check out the splash screen thread. You'll see who is doing them. I can't post a link as I'm sure this forum will whack it.

i have the avic 90bt and i love it. if you look around online you can still find them. i like this system b/c you get the nav too! it has dvd, bluetooth, sirius, and the navi.i did have to purchase a special harness only because i have the ambient lighting option.for the price and what you get imo you cant do better than this.it also has usb,hd radio and a lot of other things.

It came down to the Pioneer 900BT and the Kenwood DNX5120 when I bought mine. I went with the Kenwood for 3 reasons. The most important was that to me, the Kenwoood sounded better. The second reason was the built in Garmin NAV, the third was the speed of the unit on boot up.

On the plus side the Pioneer has a sharper display and BT is built in which is nice. I also know that since I purchased my system Pioneer has come out with newer firmware which greatly speeds up system startup. The 900BT is also a bit less expensive than the Kenwood and the 5120 is very hard to find now. Since sound quality is very subjective I would advise listening to the Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine before making your decision.

I ruled out the Alpine early on because I have a friend who has one and the NAV drove us both insane. It is also much more costly then either the Pioneer or the Kenwood.

Need to go Kenwood DNX, almost any model DNX is great. They have all the features you'd want. Bluetooth, Sat Ready, IPod full control, Rear Camera, Touchscreen, DVD Playback with DUAL zone, which is often under appreciated until you dont have it. NAV by Garmin which is the Industry Leader, with available map updates every year through the built in SD port on most models. Even the less expensive models are great because you can add on features as needed. I use my IPod Video to watch music videos, and Movies...Very easy to bypass the NAV and Video Lock out. Its cool when i have my iphone connected because contact name , caller ID and Contact pic all show up on screen. I even have a DVI adapter that allows me top plug in my laptop in the trunk and show on screen in front, then use tethering with a BT MM Keyboard to go online....next best thing to a carputer.
