I think you all are talking about the heat extractor setup that comes on the 2010 Mustang GT's. If so, I installed one on my 05' about a month ago.

You all know that after a drive you get out and raise the hood that there is this wave of heat that hits you right in the face, well installing one of these babys will correct that issue.

The heat extractor works while the car is in motion. I got mine from the local Ford dealer for $58 this price also included a bunch of screws ( didnt know if they were needed, but bought them anyway - come to find out I didnt need them)

Install is very quick, you will need some wire ties, 1/4" nut driver and a pair of side cutters. I drilled some small holes in the front of the piece to wire tie it to the existing splash piece (if thats what its called)

Here are the pictures. Well worth the money.

What if you use both? That would really cut down on the heat, right?

You can get it for $65 if they like you. If you think that's bad your dashboard costs $700.

Tip of the Month, October: Do not buy the $730 Roush Exhaust which a Mangnaflow rep says costs to $117 make (polished, all ss), buy the $170 Roush Exhaust Tips estimated to cost $46 to make and weld them to another company's muffler. This also lets you choose how your car sounds.
