I read a thread a while back about 2010 parts being adopted onto 05-09s and one of the items was a widduser panel type thing that went under the car. I read that it could increase MPG by 1 or 2 and only cost like $80.
But from what i recall the thread never came to a conclusion as to whether or not it would fit. Anyone have any more info on this? Driving 90 miles a day to school will help that 1-2 mpg add up FAST. And im assuming better mpg from it is because of the aerodynamics, so maybe +1mph top speed? like ill ever get close to that anyways

I would be interested in the speed you would need to be going to achieve a 1-2 mpg increase, and how much better off you would be at highway speeds. My guess is that it is worthless at city speeds, but might be beneficial at higher than legal highway speeds. Can you get info as to what the claimed fuel savings are at your customary driving speeds?

You could always add a nose cone to the blunt end of your mustang to reduce the form drag. IMO you're going to see very little, if any, increase in MPG due to this mod (only a wind tunnel will tell). On the other hand, if the entire undercarriage was covered you would probably see an increase in fuel mileage - especially if you dimpled it like a golf ball.
The airflow across the louvers may help pull hot air out of the engine compartment, though, which would be a good thing, but will only be effective at high speeds when it doesn't really matter anyway.

It's not going to improve you by 2-3 mpg. More like .2 to .3 mpg.
I'm actually going to do this mod, because on the track it's worth it for the aero boost.
A splitter does NOT improve your MPG it makes it worse. This isn't really a diffuser it's an undertray.
