I would run it through the firewall under the dash and snake it into the vent pod from the side of the dash(there's a passage).....and no the vent pod does not require any cutting or drilling--nice piece.....used it for my aeroforce and wideband

Right, there's a rubber grommit that some other wires go through. Punch through that. You may need to take the wheel well liner out, if you can't snake the wire to the engine bay. I use a wire snake that gets it done after about 500 tries, without removing the wheel well liner. I have since learned to keep a spare wire run through it just for pulling other wires through easily.
For the mechanical boost you may need to open a slot in the inner sleeve so that the vacuum line can fit. They sometimes don't go in the same slot as the wires and might be too big.

I just drilled a new hole in the firewall near the rest of wiring in the driver's side fender well (w/ new rubber grommet). I used a wire clothes hanger to fish the wires/tubing through.
Be careful of just slipping the wires/tubing through the gap between the sleeve/vent they can get pinched. Its easy enough to reach in with a razor and cut out a small notch.
